This survey provides a comprehensive account of Ros Auld’s work from the 1970s to the present.
Based in her studio at Borenore, NSW for forty years, she has produced a unique and compelling body of work that is a direct response to the landscape around her. The exhibition introduces previously unseen works alongside cast bronzes, signature vessels, wall pieces, sculptures and collaborations.
The idea of making place or place-making is intrinsic to Auld’s work, and her process is defined by a cyclical conversation between artist and land. Gathering materials and experiences from the landscape, she is evolving a visual language that is entirely her own.
An Orange Regional Gallery exhibition.
